SIT’N’SKATE and Trap Skateboards came together to bridge the gap between skateboarding and wheelchair skating. The main sponsors and initiators of the event series were Paramount Consumer Products and Paramount Pictures Germany, who aimed to promote the release of their new animated film TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: MUTANT MAYHEM while simultaneously fostering inclusion. The film's release date was August 3, 2023.

At our skate event, we rode together in demos to send the message that the focus should be on the person, not the medium. The Trap Team, including Olympic skateboarder Tyler Edtmayer, and the SIT’N’SKATE crew, led by David Lebuser, were in Hamburg on July 16, Frankfurt on July 23, and Berlin on July 30. Together, we aimed to demonstrate what is possible and held inclusive sessions to motivate and support each other.
